On 20 - 22 November our Coordinator of the Diversity Charter Lëtzebuerg participated in a study visit between the Portuguese, the Polish, the Estonian and the Luxembourg Charter in Povoa de Lanhoso, Portugal.
The Charters exchanged practices on their communication and services towards their signatory organisations. On 22 November, they presented their activities to an audience of about 100 participants during the II Diversity Forum organized by the Portuguese Diversity Charter on the topic “Communicating Diversity”.
In presence of the 2015 Diversity Awards winners Ville d’Esch-sur-Alzette and Mouvement pour l’Egalité Des Chances pour Tous asbl, the Diversity Charter Lëtzebuerg presented the Diversity Day, the Awards as well as the (Handi)Cap Emploi awareness raising campaign.
Both Award winners have then presented their practices during dedicated workshops: the Ville d’Esch-sur-Alzette presented their Diversity4Kids training they have implemented within the “Maisons relais” and MEC asbl presented among others the Magazine “Move Together” to facilitate the integration of asylum seekers and refugees. Both organisations have then exchanged with participants from Portugal, Poland and Estonia.
