United Nations Forum on Business and Human Rights

As diversity management falls within the broader scope of human rights, Catia Fernandes, Diversity Charter Coordinator, attended the United Nations Forum which is the world's largest annual gathering on business and human rights, bringing together more than 2,000 participants from governments, businesses, local associations and civil society, law firms, investors, UN agencies, national human rights institutions, labor organizations, academia, and the media.

For three days, participants attended more than 60 discussion sessions presenting numerous initiatives and sharing experiences on current issues of human rights and business and notably the due diligence.

IMS Luxembourg will adress human rights due diligence with a training organized in collaboration with Fairtrade and ASTM in February 2019. Stay tuned.
