Haxogreen 2020 / 2021 Update
THE RESULTS OF THE NATIONAL COMPETITION "JONK FUERSCHER 2020
On Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 March 2020, the video interviews between the Jonk Fuerscher and the members of the jury of the 49th national "Jonk Fuerscher" competition took place.
This year, 66 participants from 38 innovative projects in a wide variety of fields such as biology, chemistry, physics, computer science, engineering, social sciences and psychology took part in the competition organised by the Fondation Jeunes Scientifiques Luxembourg and defended their projects before the expert jury.
CANCELLATION OF ALL PUBLIC EVENTS - OPEN HOUSE AND AWARD CEREMONY - OF THE NATIONAL JONK FUERSCHER COMPETITION 2020
Due to the recent development around COVID-19 and the Luxembourgish government’s decision to close all schools as of Monday 16 March and prohibit any event in a confined space bringing together more than 100 people as of Friday 13 March, the board of the Fondation Jeunes Scientifiques Luxembourg (FJSL) is forced to cancel the Open House and the Award Ceremony of the National “Jonk Fuerscher” Contest, scheduled to take place in Luxembourg on 29 March 2020 at the Forum Campus Geesseknäppchen.
CANCELLATION EXPO-SCIENCES LUXEMBOURG 2020
Given the growing concerns around COVID-19 and its global spreading, it is with deep regret that the board of the Fondation Jeunes Scientifiques Luxembourg (FJSL) has taken the decision to cancel the international science event Expo-Sciences Luxembourg, scheduled to take place in Luxembourg from March 26th – 30th 2020.
